Lyrics
Maybe i can stay another night
Maybe you can change my mind
Maybe you can turn the wrong to right
Or maybe i can tell you why

You don't know how to love, how to love

Love does not just give up
Love fights through the pain
Love always tries to compromise
There's so many reasons why

You don't know how to love, how to love

Love does not make you feel alone
Love is not a word you know
You don't know love
You don't know love
You don't know the first thing about love
You don't know love
You don't know how to love, how to love

You don't know how to love, how to love

Very nice
Shows promise. It's sounding pretty good as it is so I'll be interested to see how it ends up.

I like the vocals, especially where the electro stuff comes in.

Cheers

Dick

Catchy tune
nice piano, sweet changes throughout the composition and enjoyed the vocal melody. I could see this playing on the radio.

How To Love
Plenty to like, Niall. The sparse piano/vocal opening is good. Perhaps just enunciate "may(be)" a bit more clearly. The starts of the phrases just seem to roll into each other. The arrangement additions to the second verse work really well and I really, really like the impact of the synth the second time "You don't know how to love, how to love" occurs but I think it is it just a touch too "startling" first time round after the low key first verse? Perhaps just ease it in a bit volume wise? The rest of the song sounds great but I'm not sure about the "whooshing" sound that stabs in the background. Personal preference, of course. All just suggestions of course. Fine work. Thanks.

Promise...
I enjoyed the general "feeling" of this trace, but found the piano and general backing to be tedious in its relentless repetition. The added clicks and pops are a nice addition. For MY taste (and I'm mostly a classical musician), I'd like to hear a lot more in terms of melodic development, too. You have created a very nice sonic space that now needs variety to fill it up with sustainable interesting things that provide expression AND expansion of your ideas.
