Description
From three years ago, No. 124 is from my "By The Numbers" series of piano pieces. It is a little like a music box with all the high treble sections. I hope you will enjoy the little bits of inner dialogue going on.

Firsties!
I might even get to listen to it, Paul!

Another way to look at it is...
...it's like a music box, but with TONE...and the ability to have expression in addition to melody...beautiful, lyrical, and light in a good way...

I too
immediately thought of a music box...

Simply lovely Paul!

Be well friend!

Your music continues to delight, Paul. Lovely, light, dancing tune. The changes of pace work well to add to the variety in the melody.

Treble
I love the writing in this with the hands close together, sometime overlapping? You're using your full harmonic colouring box here: I really love the non-trivial harmonies you're using here.

Eh, this piece has too many left turns. You can surprise me once with a harmonic twist, you can surprise me twice, but after the third time it's no longer a surprise, and I kinda lose my harmonic way. But I think I've made that point before.

Light, airy.
This flutters in a soft breeze of musical delight.
A very enjoyable number this 124.
Cheers,
Charlie

Late to the party
But I'm glad I got here in the end.

A lovely gentle playful piece.

Thanks

Every time, I feel like I am an intruder ...
Easily, the most-monumental thing that Paul has done, for all of us, is to publish the score to the music that we hear.   I always “read along,” and every time I feel like an intruder upon a Keyboard Master Class, surely filled by the Keyboard and the Composer Wizards that I fear that I shall never be.

... but, I haven’t given up trying yet, Paul!   You can be sure of that!   So, even though I am so-far about one-hundred-twenty-three (and counting) steps behind you ... ;-)

... what you have done, and what you continue to do, is absolutely priceless.   And, most certainly, it is “an educational opportunity beyond compare,” ever-challenging people like me to be able to reach up to it.   Thanks.
