Backbeat
Totally cool!

As a drummer (which I am not, so I'm using my imagination here) it must be pretty exciting to lay down a textured track and then have it come back with instruments added (when there are so many different ways it could go).

Not being a drummer, I have to rely on drum loops to build rock songs. I usually start with a melody and some general conception of what it might sound like, but I'm always amazed how that conception quickly alters when I start pairing a melody with a specific drum track - the melody almost always acquiesces to the percussion (and rarely the other way around).

It's heavy
but more interesting than heavy metal. Good to hear some actual rock music at MJs. Drummer seems to know what he's doing.

Kind of reminded me a little of Rush in a YYZ sort of way. Great to hear what these guys created around your drums.
