Description
For what it's worth, there are at least three TuMi loops in both sections of this tune. Not sure if it's two tunes, but the latter came to me when I was working on the former. so to me, it feels like one tune. Makes it hard to peg it to a genre, though. That's why I like GB, because you can take an ambient rock tune and put it back-to-back with world folk on a droning soundscape. But what the hell do you call it? Eclectic? :) Enjoy...

Lyrics
when i
come to life
think of all the things i've done
think of how i felt like i never needed anyone

and i
draw the line
wander all around this town
wonder why anymore nothing ever seems to get me down

i'm coming home
i'm coming home

i
compromise
think of all the things i say
and i wonder why no one ever thought to treat her that way

and i
walk the line
never too far from my eyes
never too far gone to not yet realize

i'm coming home
i'm coming home

would i
terrified
label all the things i know
and wonder why some of the things never seem to let me go

when i
come to life
under all the things i've done
too far gone now, i'm heading for home

i'm coming home
i'm coming home

A voice!
Hey man you've got a pretty good voice! You need to do some more songs with vocals.

Like I said before the sound beds you create are very good. Your voice really makes this something!

Good job! I like how you used the loops. Good luck in the contest!

Pop
Hey Chris,

not too much to say about the song. This sort of stuff is
entirely not my taste.

Just want to say something about the recording quality:
Are you processing that vocal somehow? It sounds like a
low bitrate mp3 conversion. I don't particularly care for it.
Worse: there are lots of vocal plops. Invest in a plop filter?
The first "think", and "*D*rag me *D*own" in the second
verse.

Are you tapping on a guitar when that acoustic rhythm
comes in at the end? Wonderful guitar work; I really dislike
that tapping sound. It sounds too much like it's
unintended.

Good luck in the competition! (I still haven't finished my
entry.)
