This profile is for the Co-founder of Dual-Spirit Records, Chris Nunley. Here at Dual-Spirit Records we found a way to interact our business and musical passion with others. The way we did this was by opening our studio, production knowledge, beats and skills to the public. We record big bands of all types, from country to hip hop to rock and roll. We do it all. Upon that we also compose and arrange beats at a professional level. We specialize in recording but there are other aspects to our business as well. We Distribute music that gets accepted by the staff, booking shows, soon to be signing more bands to our label, and we can accommodate for just about every musical service you need. If there is something we cannot do, we know someone who can! We are working on obtaining a location to place our recording studio for later this year. Currently Dual-Spirit Records is being ran out of a home studio facility. We are determined to lease a commercial spot so our services can be more accessible to more artists! Not to worry, we are perfectly capable of recording any size project. We have out source recording studios if the project can not properly be completed in our home facility for any reason. Please do not hesitate to ask us any question about recording, recording classes, production or just a quick tip.

Music Background After writing music for a couple of years I decided to buy myself a four-track Tascam cassette recorder to document some of my writings. This eventually turned into software recording and after a couple year I decided that getting an Apple computer would be my best bet. After recording my own demos throughout high school for me and my friends I decided to aspire this as a career. I began attending Glendale Community College to study Recording Arts. After studying with Dave Nichols and interning at his studio (Living Head Studios, Phoenix, AZ) I was determined to learn more. I enrolled at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences where I learned more than I could have imagined. All this time maintaining a job at Celebrity Theater as a Stage Manager and a Stage Hand. I decided that the recording studio is where I belong. I worked at Uranus Studios helping the Gin Blossums record a new album. This same time I began freelancing at different studios including my studio which was coming along quite nicely. As my client list grew, so did my studio until I eventually started doing all my work in my own "home" studio. This is very beneficial because their is no extra overhead costs for me and I get all the money and set my own prices. After overcoming all of this I decided to start Dual-Spirit Records with one of my band mates Adrian Medina. We did this as a way to have an actual business and also so we can release our own projects. Two years later we are everywhere from radio stations across the world, record stores across the nation, ITunes, Amazon, Napster and we just keep expanding. Our latest project is working on the new Kama-Mara Record and working on my solo material. We have an upcoming moving that we will be scoring and doing some foley work. They begin filming in june 2012! Let me know if you have any questions! Just shoot me an email. Thanks for reading!
