Logic 10.4.2
Thursday, September 27 2018 @ 04:30 PM CDT

Release notes here:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203718

Doesn't look like any new instruments/effects this time around. Lots of performance and workflow enhancements. Some very interesting routing capabilities have been added to the sends.

They mention Smart Tempo a lot in the description so I wonder if the issue I had with it might have also been addressed.

I'll download and see.

Are the original Emagic developers still involved?

(I started on Logic 5.5 or so, a couple of minutes before Apple bought Emagic and instantly killed the PC product line. Man you should have heard the wailing.....)

I found some references to hiring still being done by Apple for developer positions in Hamburg (Emagic's original headquarters), so it's quite possible. I will say, I wish all Apple's native apps had the same development curve as Logic has had over the last several years. Wirklich ausgezeichnet!
