Death of DysCom Kool
Sunday, April 07 2019 @ 10:30 AM CDT

Been preaching this for ten years at MJ and here it is on a Brit youtube blow. Imagine...
Don't know Neil Young personally? Well nature child, he divorced his wife of 30 something years to marry an actress. The new couple is fairly age appropriate. That is what 45 years of granola will do for you. But he's Kool, dyscom kool.
Kool is dead. Long live Kool. Start shopping for that scooter.

Same issues in this vid, as in the above, with nuances on the decline of western civilization. It is suggested this is ten years too late to be news, so what might this be about if it is not news?
Dare you guess? This question won't be in the mass media friend.

Maybe just the thing to get to the meta behind the issue. This discusses different aspects of the issue to include marketing and economics. Still confused friend? Have a latte and think about a cultural icon you accept.

... and (just sayin’ ...) how are “hipsters” all that different from the “hippies” of yesteryear, except that they shop at different clothing stores?

Maybe I’m just too-damned-old now, but this feels very manufactured.   Put together by a designer somewhere – or maybe a peddler of sunglasses – who got paid a whole lot of money to do it.   Somehow, to me it just doesn’t feel quite authentic.

"western decadence"---the ultimate TRUISM?

The posts presented demonstrate something interesting. The cultural information is ten years old. There is a reason we are seeing this, Big Sister does not do these things for nothing. There is a meta, and "above" consideration to be discerned. Why is cool dead? Why is this cool suspect? What made the granola generation besides the media? Recall when "Tonight's The Night" was released and failed. Why was that cool. Lots of questions come to mind. What you got?
