Midi Foot Switch / Logic Express upgrade?
Monday, December 31 2007 @ 02:48 PM CST

I have some drums and Bass lines in GarageBand and would like to be able to start and stop them with a foot switch. I am a Guitar player and worship leader who would like to use my GB stuff to fill in my sound.

I have Logic Express 7 but have not found a use for it yet as GB does what I need at home but I would like to start using my stuff in public and could upgrade to Logic Express 8 if need be, but I would be more comfortable with GB.

Thank you.

More footswitches than you could operate if you were an octopus.

I just bought one of those from craigslist, but haven't played with it yet.

I use this on my axiom 61 keyboard to start/stop and record via garageband
with this software add on:

You may also want to check out icontrol if you don't want to purchase one of the m=audio keyboards that have the transport controls built in:

I know who I am and you know who you are, but who and the hell do they think they are?
