Fact: 26% of U.S. audio recording/mixing studios/facilities say they do work for games as do one in five (21%) animation studios.


Why should you care?
With E3 just completed in LA, game development has been on center stage hot new hardware and software. Since our Summer 2003 survey, the number of audio recording/mixing studios doing work for games jumped up a whopping 16%! Game enthusiasts not only require hot FX, but also demand high quality surround sound as part of their gaming experience. As announced at E3 last week, with the cost of development now hitting the $15+ Million mark, watch for more animation, FX and post houses to be working on game development projects taking games to exciting new levels of realism.
