You've posted some great production tips and the like...and I'm apparently not smart enough to bookmark them or write them down. My point is that I'd love to see a compiled resource of some of the links you've come up with...I'm sure there are more than a few I didn't catch in the forums. Keep 'em coming!

I found this article to be the best at putting in a nutshell, some basic rules of thumb when it comes to recording vocals. Live mixers should also take note--often times the stage hand checking the female vocalist's mike is male---which always erked me b/c it's common sense that the levels aren't gonna be the same--in most cases. DUH! Now i have the technical jargon to communicate this idea. Thanks mcboy. With cheese on it.Wink
