I guess that, to my way of thinking, "the ending of a song is the most-interesting part that you maybe should pay the most attention to."   However, the "dee-jays" might not agree with you.   If you don’t give them the “official” transition that they want, they’ll just hit the cross-fade lever and that’s that.

Not to mention that in many cases (if not all cases by now) radio stations speed up the tunes 2-3% to create even MORE time for ad revenue. The confluence of Art and Business has never been a perfect situation for artistic intent. Wink
