Day Tripping

Description
A close friend I hadn't seen for 13 years came to stay and brought with him some photos from a day out in the country. It brought back some great memories.
Sorry about the singing but if any one thinks it's ok I might get around to tidying it up a bit and writing more words.

Lyrics
I see myself
Sitting in a field of clouds
Sitting there for hours and hours.

I see a smile
From a friendly face
Asking if I am O.K.

CHORUS
Day tripping in the country.
Day tripping in the country.

Pass me that joint
I'm starting to mellow out
I'm gonna climb up that tree over there
Gonna stretch myself out.

CHORUS

Just Say No
Just kidding. Excellent presence here, vocally and in the
accompaniment. Some freaky things happening in the
2nd half. Very entertaining. Nice keyboards.

Are you OK?

great fun
Laid back chilled out sound. Brilliant vibe.

The sort of macjammer that could produce a true
masterpiece if they tried!

Nothing beats an old friend
Everything is nice with real friendship emotion. I guess the sound effects were from the buzz %u2013 Cow, thunder, duck, lawn sprinkler, maybe some bugs? Little toasty during the recording session?
Very nice instrumentation and very nice singing voice.
