Jazzy Short (1988)

Get Flash to see this player.

Just a short little ditty I wrote while working with my Kurzweil PX1000 module. Using the signature Kurzweil Grand Piano sound, a really nice echoplex'ed flute (uses layered samples and no effects), some vibes and a ride cymbal. Only a little reverb was added with an REX50. Recorded in 1988

Cool piece
Love that flute sound.
Delightful, I like that light tapping of the cymbal as well.
Nice ending.

Command performance
I wish I had such command of the keyboard. This is fine
playing. Nice polyphony. Great sense of forward motion.

Jazzy, yep...

the sakura piece...

You have a wide and wonderful range!

Classically trained composer and orchestrator. Been doing sound design and synthesis for a long time. Enjoying the incredible power of computers and samples, but it's great just to sit down with a guitar or analog synth and just play too. Graham ... [see more]
