Thanks for stopping by. The comments/critique are appreciated. I thought PV
really did a great job with the drums and the mix. He pushed the tune to it's
limits.

Yeah
Yeah this is kickn'. The drums are great and I think the guitar comes
through much better now. The leads you added are nice, I would just
slow the pan a little. Carry on.-JAC

Thanks. The drums do fit really well. When I originally gave the piece to PV it
only had some standard drum loops from GB. He completely replaced them and
I think the drum track came out awesome. Really sync'd well with the piece and
added a lot of terrific accents. The duo guitar/bass groove is probably a result
of my limited imagination when it comes to arranging but I think it worked
here. Thanks again for the listen.

i would like to hear a freetime-space interlude...something to break up
the onslaught....it would kill coming back into time...

anyway, aquila played his patootie off, the recording sounds great, and
the percusion is killin....fun ride all around.

great collaboration

Yes, now that you mention it, it does seem pretty obvious. I will definitely
think about that if this gets revisited. Thanks for the suggestion and
comment, ziti!

Yeah I agree, in hindsight, that it would make sense to bring it down a notch at
some point. That would create a nice dynamic. Your insight is much
appreciated.

It's cool...
...to hear something that has this much drive that also stays in the pocket
and has a bit of a swing to it...

Drums are phenomenal...maybe the best I've heard on MacJams...

Yeah, I'd go for the mid-tune change-up/space jam, but perhaps that'll
be what spices up the long version for the live album...

Really rockin' track, guys...

Stadium Rock!
I like the big fanfare intro. You might tighten up the melody a bit,
maybe even shortening it a little? I think the point is to shake the
listener awake, hint at the theme, and then dive right in. The long delay
and reverb work well here.

The guitar riff is catchy and I think the style and tone really suits it. The
guitar does sound a little thin. You might try loading some EQ before
compression and reverb to fatten it a bit and roll-off some of the
"tinny" fequencies. A fatter sound will also let you ease up on the
reverb without losing that sense of space.

The dynamics on the drums are great! The drums really pound a lot of
life into the song. Something is happening in the mix however that is
taking the edge off. Maybe just load up some very narrow EQ boosts to
catch the cracks and thumps of the snare, toms, and kick?

One last production note. Maybe try the "bass amp" on your bass synth
to give it a nice distinct rumble down beneath the kick drum?

This is an infectious groove with great percussion and a really nice,
classic rock guitar style. Just get those dynamic performances
squeezed all the way out though the speakers!
