Description
Long time no see cats. Been busy with the restaurant and with writing incomplete pieces, which this one is incidentally. Just thought I'd submit it for lack of anything new in a while, so.
Peace out yall.

Wow
I like this. I'm doubly impressed because I've been struggling to make some interesting orchestral music in GB... I have a long way to go! I love the dramatic horns, and the string accents... really the whole thing sounds good, and it would work really well in the right film.

Great!
I'll give it a whirl, Basil! Meanwhile, some of your work inspired my new one, Via Maris. All constructive criticism welcome.

Oh my gosh!
A beautiful interlude giving way to a ferocious brass anthem with a touch of darkness and danger, and resolving into a contemplative aftermath of woodwinds and foreboding strings with an ominous end statement. As usual, your brass and percussion combos leave me in awe.

Oh my gosh!
Thanks again RickB1. I'm a little worried about this piece because I literally hit a wall and don't know how to finish it. Just too busy to sit down and figure it out these days.
Peace.

Very Elfman
This is wonderfully produced and arranged - it could be a Steve Bartek job, which is to say that it's very evocative of 80's Elfman, which ain't a bad thing - actually, there are moments that tend to get brighter and more optimistic than Elfman (he IS the master of the darkness in movie music these days), but a good deal of this really sounds like either "Batman" or some of Shirley Walker's stuff from "Mask of the Phantasm". On another note, you are very much in command of your GB skills and I could learn a thing or two from you in the production department, well done!

Very Elfman
I was waiting for someone to notice the little Batman in here. Good call. Love Elfman, and Bartek for that matter. Oingo Boingo was awsome, wish I was old enough to have been around to see a live show back in the day.
Yeah, if you listen to my other stuff, I'm basically ripping off just about any film composer out there, due to my lack of classical training.
Loved your short films and music, very different, very cool stuff.

Awsomenessness....

Excellent
Good to hear another of your pieces, Basil, even if it's unfinished.
Ghost User?

Excellent
Thank you very much Mungo.

Ghost User is my log in on my mac that I use mainly for garageband stuff. My regular login has all my work stuff on it now, so that's the story behind that.

Good hearing from you again!

B.
