Good job
Very interesting. Your genre labeled "alt rock" led me to think it would be
something else. The mix is a little unbalanced, the panning sometimes
distracts from the actual song, but maybe not so "wide" on the panning
might fix that. I get in trouble for panning to wide myself! It sounds
different though in headphones from regular monitors or speakers, so
always check panning in headphones also to make sure it's not
uncomfortable to listen to. A good song though overall.

Good job
Thanks!
Well I kind of had some problem with pinpointing the genre... Do You have a suggestion?
As for the panning, You're probably right. I was trying to achieve a "fluffier" sound than myu songs usually end up having... I'll try to squeeze it together more.
Thanks again for the input, much appreciated.

Very cool ..
.. something in your voice reminds me of 'Tusk' by Fleetwood Mac .. in
this ie. Lindsey Buckingham - 'tusk' a bit in the low bits .. it's the trills/
vibrato .. and like him, you have a great sounding voice in the higher
range.

Very cool ..
Thanks! Does that mean that i should save out on the lower voice ;-)
It's of course great to get a review of ones voice, nothing is more personal.
I've been playing drums in bands since the heyday of Sex Pistols, but never did any singing. Last year i got my first Garageband and started making songs of my own. It was fun to realise that I could actually pass for a singer aswell. I still have a long way to go but slowly i'm getting there (it's kind of fun to compare the vocals on my oldest songs to the new ones). I also found out that i actually had quite a register, (three octaves on a good day). But i do agree, it sounds better when i scream :-) i think the hard part is to practice to make by lower voice more powerful and maybe find the right vibrato.
Thanks again for Your comment. It's very much appreciated!

Very cool ..
.. "save out on low voice" .. nah, not at all - it was just when you demonstrated
both aspects of your voice so clearly in this, that I thought I'd mention my
preference.

Keep it up ! Very cool.

Tom Waits??
This reminds me a bit of him....I dig the keyboard sound you have going
on here and I dig the free open feel to the vocals and then when you spin
it to the dub feel is fantastic....nice job!!!....peace....Ian

Tom Waits??
Thanks. Well i like old Tom but i never figured i was influenced by him... I usually over produce my stuff (feel free to listen through it), with tons of instruments and channels, but this time i was trying to keep it down a bit.
Glad you liked it, thanks again!

definately an interesting vocal style. kind of cool. the higher backing vocals give a nice contrast. you should post the lyrics. instrumental seems nice too.

still even if the lyrics aren't the best, seeing them always helps to understand and appreciate a song more. something i should do more of when i listen to music is read the lyrics.

I like it
I like the rolling synth arpeggio that keeps tumbling in the background,
and your voice in the two different octave ranges was enjoyably unique...
almost had a jazzy native American Indian "fire dance" feel to it. Where's
the flute and the peyote? :)
