Some Great Pickin'
It sounds like you had a lot of fun playing this one. I love playing a
melody over a steady bass pick. Your playing is terrific and, as always,
the sound is very nice and organic. This put a smile on face on a cool,
dreary morning.

running and gliding
It makes me envision a deer running and occasionally leaping and soaring
or a young bird learning to fly from the ground for the first time.

As always, it sounds wonderful and you play with great skill.

Great acoustic playing
...as ever, very evocative....you get such a lovely tone from that
instrument. This is a cool, easy going piece of expert playing

Yeah!
I like Peter's running and gliding imagery, very fitting. This is fantastic, Bill. The sudden harmonics sound like punctuation on your musical sentences. Fantastic, I really enjoyed this one.

Great Sound
Love those superfast clean thumb licks in the stand alone phrase. You
are just such a master at playing seemingly effortlessly and so clean.
Of course I know the effort that has gone into getting to the level that
you are at. Got a very dramatic, sense of power from this song. Seemed
to be calm for a while and then just explode. Great song Bill! Keep em
coming.

MJ will soon dedicate a server to you
your recordings are rich, pristine and so musically interesting... but
you are the kind of guy that, if I had my choice, I would rather see you
live... that does not mean I don't enjoy your recording ability... I just
love your technical ability on the wood and steel... and I'd want to get
up close

Nice and nimble
Not sure why the word "Rush" is in the title, since it doesn't feel rushed. Indeed, the music had the opposite effect on me - it feels like you are in total control, over the speed licks, as well as those dramatic pauses. Nicely, and nimbly, done.

Thanks for stoppin by. I guess when I do a fast run and then kind of stop
there is somewhat of a rush feel. Kinda like something going through a
tube fast and then is let out etc.

Scramble!
I love the way you make this composition scramble... Jells for me... parts
remind me of Steve Howe... just in the middle not the scrambing. Such a
pleasure to listen to... selection of progressions that take you from one
end to the other. Thanks for sharing.

Kind of like Cat In The Hat Comes Back...
...where they try to clean up a pink bathtub ring and end up with it
spreading everywhere...

In this case, you have a phrase in your mind, and, in your attempts to
shake it loose, you embed it in the minds of a dozen MacJammers...

This one's got a particularly Kottke-esque feel...

Another tune...
for my thetiler album Bill! Cool riffing. Wonderful loose and airy picking.
Loved the harmonics throughout. A brain teaser for you---an ear tickler
for me!

Be well!
