Echoes Of The Past

Description
This picture has reflective qualities and that is why I picked it out. The photo almost begged me to touch it's past, so that is the meaning of the picture in my closest estimation. The music helps me visit Torla, Spain in my imagination (that is were that building is located). So much of Spain's architecture is great at doing that.

laid back energy
Really love this one - it makes me close my eyes and go to a different
place, not sure where, but the picture sure fits so I guess that's it. :)

I had my speakers turned up...
...because I had just been listening to something soft, so this one fairly
leaped (leapt?) from the speakers... Really resonant wood on this one...
I could probably count the tree rings on the top...

I like the meandering-but-with-impact flavor of this, Bill. Great
dynamics, nice switching back and forth from the fingerstyle to the
full-bodied chords, not to mention the harmonics...

It does amaze me that you are so prolific. If it's vitamins, send me a
bottle...

You just keep...
pumping out, don't ya? Instead of pumping iron, you pump great
guitar music... : )

I am just appreciating, once again, your talent.

Wow!
Bill, you know how to paint a picture with Betsy. Listening to this with my
eyes closed, I wanted to reach out and touch again those places in Spain
where I used to live.

Beautifully done my friend!

God bless,

Rick

Memories...
Well I never been to Spain, but I really like the music. :-) I closed my
eyes and let it take me to one of my special memories. I was 20 and
crewing on the sloop Clearwater. While in full sail on the Hudson, I
climbed the nearly 100 foot mast. What an adventure that was! This
tune has a sense of adventure like that day held for me.

Nice playing
Beautiful guitar work. Very fresh tune--seemed to go its own way and I
went right along with it. I would have liked it to go on a bit longer in fact.
Thanks.

great guitar playing
As usual, your guitar playing is great, and the song just seems to flow
from your fingertips. Beautiful performance.

Lush
I've been to Spain a few of times but that photo of Torla shows a very
different part of the country to those I'm familiar with (for a start the river
bed isn't dry and the vegetation is lush - like your music. You have a
gorgeous tone and feel here - seems quite an inward looking reflective
piece.

PS - I've just tried to listen to your newbie (Acoustic Rush) but it wouldn't
play.
