the TR808 was the shit when i got it
though I don't think I ever really learned how to do everything it was capable of
- I had a great time with it. I didn't use any midi (too hi tech for me back then) -
but I did use the sound outs to trigger the synth sequences. YMO were just
another one of my fetishes - I was a hungry consumer. Listened to Yello (the
swiss guys) the other night. They were released by Ralph records - great label.
