Description
"area three" is my favourite "area" so far, so I made a little longer version. The choir-like sound in the new middle part is the original "Imperia Pad" sound from GB, just played with full modulation, the old fashioned synth in the end is played with the "remedy" software synth, which is free and very nice to use. Hope you like it!

fascinating...
and a good move to make the original longer. This is such a great ambient piece of music, and the middle break adds to the tension of the whole song. Done with tons of good taste.

Thank you Walter!
Your kind comment is very appreciated!

This areas are some "kidding fields" for me, I am learning to use my MAC, GB settings, mixing and to give structure to my musical ideas. Area three is the only "serious" one for the moment and I am happy, that you like this piece, too.

Greetings,

Bernd

bumps and ridges
the variety of synth textures in this piece is engaging. There are so many elements to hear. The theme begins to sound a bit redundant to me towards the end, but it recurs in such an unpredictable way that it doesn't really hurt the piece as an ambient composition.

nicely done,

Yeah, you might be right, at the end an unexpected variation would be a great idea. Sorry, I did not see your comment, this answer comes late...
