A small song about love.

Nothing is better, than the look of love.
How it rips you apart; until you're no longer yourself.
Shot by the arrows, hunted by the spells,
hungered for that flesh of yours, love is your well.

What do you want..?
What do you want?

Nothing taste better, than the taste of love.
How it melts in your mouth before it disappears.
"Come back!" you scream. "Come back to me!"
But love turned its back on you and walked away.

Great production on a smokin little tune
this baby rocks! The bass is killer and the synth is really cool. Reminds me a little of Psychedelic Furs - but not as dark. A good thing. Great song!

Nice Work____
Mikki I like the way the vox are out front. The bass guitar sounds great. Nice beat and feel. I enjoyed this one.

...I am in awe of your lyric writing. There is such angst in them. The song, production and overall feel are first rate. Downloaded. Thanks.

Mikki - what a fanatsic track! Great lyrics/vocals/production - this grabs you by the scruff and shakes you awake. interpol would kill to write this. Great impassioned vocals really make this stand out, but that bass line!!!

This is really well structured - the 'la la' section is a great hook too. I'm raving this is just great.

Danke Schne!
Bud - Psychadelic Furs was a really great band I think. I did see them last year in Vermont, drove all the way there to see them, all I can say is, wow, what a show! I do not mind being compared with them at all! :)

mvh9591 - Thank you! I had to re-work the bass several times to get it where I wanted it to be - glad you notice!

Tom Wounded - Thank you for listening and comment!!!!

JOAN - Viva La Revolution!!!

Pianoman/Len - Thank you very much! The lyrics has always meant as much to me as the music. I wouldn't even call my self a songwriter; it's more about creating a sound to carry the story.

Echoroom - Thank you Steve! I love your stuff too! :)

Love it Mikki!
I really enjoyed the busy rhythms under the straight(ish) melody in this. More B52s I'm afraid. Bass sound is very well set up. Playing, singing and writing first class - are you in a productive period or what?!

The "la la" section is inspired!

"We are put upon this earth a little space that we might learn to bear the beams of love." (William Blake)

high energy
Catchy tempo and driving beat -- who needs uppers when I can just listen to this? ;-)

It gives the "what do you want?" lyrics a real urgency.

Good balance of many different elements, it all fits together well, without being overwhelming. I especially like the high synth sound, sort of '80s style.

In fact, the whole piece reminds me of hints of Devo, Police and B52s. Back in the day...parTAAAY.

I am doing another B52's not even knowing it. Honestly, I never even listened/listen to the band... Okay...

Jiguma - I am in a very productive period, largely due to a few things. First, I moved recently, about a few months ago. and every time I do, I need to get used to the new place in order to create music (or other art). I am there now, finally.

Michael Wark - Well, thank you Sir. I am flattered!

egobandit - Yeah, I made an iPod, yeah!

Cameron - Thank you, thank you. Just so you know, you may still need some serious uppers, because music is only a momentary lapse of reason, as it should be. I am glad my song make you feel on the upper side however - that my reason.

the post punk thing you've got going on here. all the little pieces fit together really well, love the little simple guitar bit, and the prominence of the bass when the chorus starts.
