Lyrics
I feel so denied / Unjustly tried
Waiting for the sun / It never comes

Out of the darkness
You gave all your best, to,

Pull us through \ With faith in you
Taking all the pain, you were, \ Shelter from the rain

Living in sadness
You reined in the madness

To give us time \ To heal inside

We were waiting for the sun
Waiting for the sun...

I see blue skies \ It's in their eyes
A new heart unfolds \ I know I'm home

We lost the one \ It could not be undone
Wishing it was me \ You made me see

A hope to believe in
A rock to hold--when

The day turns gray \ Like it did that day

We were waiting for the sun
Waiting for the sun...

I see blue skies \ It's in their eyes
A new heart unfolds \ I know I'm home

You made it clear \ To love is to share
Sharing from inside \ Can make us fly

Fly high not holding on
Take the day before it's gone

It lightens the view / Everyday is anew

We were waiting for the sun
Waiting for the sun...
