Lyrics
Hey, walk with me,
to the scrapyard

Hey, hold my hand,
we'll go to the scrapyard

Hey, we'll build machines,
in the scrapyard

[Solo]

Hey, we'll fly planes,
in the scrapyard

Hey, We'll dream,
in the scrapyard.

This
is great stuff... love the simplicity and then the sudden scrapyard thing you got going there. Vox has a sonic quality that fits real well. Thanks!

Heyyyyyyy..
Heyyyyy...think I like this.Clean and to the point.I like the sanitary feel of the production .Wonder what a Hammond B3 floatin'in the background , horn accents and Ziti type lead would do,as an alternate version. When you can make people think more about your creation I'd say you've done a great job. Thanks for sharing.Gerry.

Thanks
Thanks! You know what? I thought about adding organ when I had the original idea, but then, I think what does the trick in this tune is the silence mixed with very intense parts.

i love this
nice to see some more bluesers here on MJ....

Great mix of modern sensibility with the classic sounds and licks intact.

Very good slide playing, great intonation and dynamics.

Please go and check out some of my blues stuff....maybe we can get together on a tune, eh?

bass drum
I totally dig the drum. Even as an organ player, I like the silence too, altho organ would work in the solo break break and during the phrase ending builds. If you ever want some B3, let me know.
