Started off with an acoustic guitar and a little percussion. Next thing you know, I've got myself a spaghetti western.

Lyrics
On My Own
Words and Music by Demetrius P. Hill.
© 2007 by Demetrius P. Hill, All rights reserved

Sumthin’s changed about the way I feel now that I’m here all alone
The passion’s gone -- I don’t care no more, and we’ve entered the unknown.

Do I love ya? Do I hate cha? Am I caught in your undertow?
But I, I realize there’s sumthin’ better now, that I’m out here on my own.

Been thinkin’ back to all the times we shared and I noticed something wrong
That you were never really there for me, too much focus on number one.

Yeah I love ya, no I hate cha, flip a coin, hell I don’t know
But I -- I ain’t messin’round with you no more cause I’m better off on my own.

On my own. On my own.

Should I love ya? Should I hate ya? Does it matter any more? (oh well)
Either way I’m gonna let you go, now I’m out here on my own.

Very well
and emotionally sung and I like the backing too. Everything is very clear, guitar, percussion etc and guitar well played with the flute accompaniment to this nice song. Maybe the vocal could go down just a little tad, but I really enjoyed it, regards M

You're right...
....the vocal is a tad loud on the first verse. And I knew it! I never post anything the same day I mix it for that very reason. I usually do several mixes over two sets of speakers and at least two sets of headphones over several days before I post anything. But this was mixed one time, listed to one time, and then I posted it. That'll teach me huh? Thanks for listening Moviz.

Good bad ugly
Nice tune, like the guitar sound. The vox is loud though, and i'd cut the reverb a bit. Reminds me of smashing pumpkins a bit... glad i checked this out.

Yes, I can hear the chng-ching of the spurs. Would make a great theme as the hero decides to leave and rides off and leaves the girl after he saves her and everyone else. I just did my own spaghetti western theme called "Spaghetti Sunrise" It has no words though. This one is really first rate.

Wow I love the dreamy feel
Of this at the start. Man your vocals on this are the best I've heard on your songs! I like this one definitely favorite. I especially liked the melody of the song.
