Lyrics
Dealing

Verse 1:
It hurts knowing I lost you
Knowing if I’d only heard
Every spoken word
Hearing our songs on the car radio
Dreaming of your touch
I miss you so much
And now that you are gone,
I know that I did wrong

Hook:
Thinking about the first day we met
Thinking about the first time we kissed
Thinking about the way my life
would be if you don’t exist
I don’t wanna hurt anymore
I don’t wanna fail anymore
I just wanna move on and let go
But for now,
This is how I am dealing
This is how I am dealing
How I am dealing

Verse 2:
It hurts knowing I failed you
Knowing you’re the one who makes me
Want a real family
Hating the place I have forced myself to
Having nothing to show
For the love we both know
And now that we are done
I know that I did wrong

Hook:
Thinking about the first day we met
Thinking about the first time we kissed
Thinking about the way my life
would be if you don’t exist
I don’t wanna hurt anymore
I don’t wanna fail anymore
I just wanna move on and let go
But for now,
This is how I am dealing
This is how I am dealing
How I am dealing

Bridge:
(But oh) You’re still on my mind,
No matter how many people
Tell me to let go
(And oh) You’re still on my heart,
Knowing even though I am with her
The pain just won’t go away
Seeing the ring on my finger
The scars on my hand
I know you can hear me
I know you understand
I wanna hear you
I wanna feel you
I wanna hold you

Verse 3:

It hurts still knowing you’re gone,
Knowing all the while I loved you
Someone else did too
Seeing his name right where mine used to be
Knowing you don’t want me
But you’re the only one I need
And now that you are gone
I know that I did wrong

Hook:
Thinking about the first day we met
Thinking about the first time we kissed
Thinking about the way my life
would be if you don’t exist
I don’t wanna hurt anymore
I don’t wanna fail anymore
I don’t wanna fight anymore
I don’t wanna cry anymore
I just wanna move on and let go
But for now,
This is how I am dealing
Please stop this feeling
Gotta start my healing

Well worth the listen.
Not a big fan of love songs but this is certainly a worthy exception.I could hear this on the radio,if I actually listened to radio!First rate production, mix and performances.Your songwriting and song crafting are solid as I've heard here.A very nice piece of work.

Blessings,
