Description
This work is from the Opera Cavalleria Rusticana. I feel it works well on the harmonica. Lee is playing the piano as usual and the wonderful Caroline recorded it for us. Thanks Caroline xx

We really enjoyed playing this one, the long sustained notes bring out the beauty of this piece.

just saw it...
My wife and I just recently enjoyed 'The Cav and the Pag' at the San Diego Opera... Mascagni wrote some great lyric tunes, and your dulcet harmonica playing really fits this well... love that high note, very sweet! Wonderful piano work too, Lee... as always! Thank you Caroline for recording this!

Hi Eduard
Thanks again for your interesting words and encouragement. The recording made by Caroline is excellent with her first class mike. I think the Intermezzo is possibly one the most popular pieces of the opera.

wishes, Carol

As always, wonderful work you both achieve. Fine harmonica playing and very nice playing by Lee. Thanks for sharing, really has a nice/calm mood. Enjoyed listening!

it really amazes me, how you guys do this! One doesn't think of the harmonica used in this way, which only shows how unimaginative "one" is! This is great - congrats to all three of you, and thanks for the terrific listen!

Thank you Maganatone
Your remarks are always interesting and many people don't know the full potential of what the harmonica is capable of. But one often hears it on films in background music, the film "Midnight Cowboy" for example was played by my teacher Tommy Reilly.

Classical Harmonica
Hi! 12parsecs,

Thanks for your nice comments. I have been playing in this style for quite a long time butI did have a really good teacher in Tommy Reilly who was Canadian born, he became a world top harmonica exponent but unfortunately died a few years ago.

Best regards Carol

Hi Edward,

I don't personally have the words for this music but I will ask my son Lee if he has any ideas as he has accompanied many artists in the past.

i love
the chromatic harp. I'm mostly a diatonic player, but i have my grandfather's old chromatic (key of C) and I still bust it out to play (badly) sometimes. I think it is an utterly beautiful instrument, and you play it so clean -- to a degree that you don't even need vibrato to get the notes to fall right. Very well done, this is definitely some of the better chromatic playing that I've heard.

Thanks a lot for your kind comments about the harmonica, it is a greatly loved instrument and unique in every way. I love playing it and I hope you have as much fun as I have with this instrument. I have never player the diatonic, best of luck with all your works tf10music!!
