James Taylor is the talented drummer for a very interesting band in Atlanta called Warm in the Wake. Check out www.warminthewake.com . I have known James for many years and he recently sent me the attached track. He wrote the music and played all of the instruments, except for the bass which I added using garage band. I really like how this turned out...soooo soothing. I played this tune numerous times sitting on the beach watching the ocean. Anyhow, I wanted to share it with the folks here (until James make me take it down!).

James used real instruments in the studio. I used a Modulus bass into garage band.
Garage band and ampeg modeling software.

Yes, very soothing indeed. It could well fit into a movie soundtrack. Your bass playing is really great, as I would expect, and James' music sounds expertly smooth and melodic.

I am listening right
now, sounds very nice, he placed the instrumentation very nicely. I like how the guitar arpegs sparkle and shimmer, the crystal feeling of the brass's parts of the percussion etc.

The bass is outstanding and really seems to be the staple of the tune drew. Spotted the pic of the Golden Gate Bridge on your front page and immediately had to scoot over here. Not sure if you know, but I am back in the SF bay area. I really missed the weather and realized that I am a San Francisco bay area boy and just can't get the ocean out of my system. So thanks for that pic as well.

Again the bass truly sounds outstanding, and the rest of the piece is sweet as well.

Thanks for sharing and hop EVERYTHING is going well for you!
