Here is a very new version of my piano piece "At Work". I rewrote parts and made a new recording. It's much more matured during the last revision.

First rate writing and playing
It is clear you possess very high-level compositional and technical skill.

I am doing all I can to keep from being envious, jealous, and downright bitter at your astounding abilities.

Thank you for posting your music here, Maestro Van Haren.

This piece is altogether.....
in a level of its own, and begs for wider recognition. Your compositions are amazing and should be heard professionally. Hopefully you will someday hear your music played all over.
Bravo, Encore!

That would be great,I am trying already so long to get them out but it's very difficult. At the moment, my Moments for violin and piano are being looked at by a violin teacher in Germany and a violin player in Seattle, USA. I also gave a copy of it to a violin player here in Sweden but didn't hear anything back yet. What else can I do? Publishers are however not interested at all in my music, so I will have on do it this way.

Outstanding. The recording sounds a bit metallic and distant, but what a performance and composition! Very impressive. I'd be curious to hear from you what you think about today's prospects for aspiring composers - it seems that the only way to get wide attention for 'classical' music is through soundtracks for films and documentaries. What I'm trying to say is that from what I've seen, that industry seems to attract the most talent since that's where the money is. Could be just a one-dimensional observation, but I have to admit that I would probably not listen to Arvo Part, for example, if it weren't for a movie. Pardon my long comment, but your talent and accomplishment just made me ponder... :)

I agree totally. I looked around and thought about this so many times and I wonder really how many people would listen to modern music if it wouldn't be used in a movie or being a composition student. However, I personally don't know anyone who would listen to atonal non-"classical" piece of music for the joy of it. It seems that writing the way I do, is liked by most people except by the people who could help me making a living out of it, like publishers.
