Interesting combination of sound Richard
I've done one using a Pedal steel in a kind of Jazz-Blues-Country song I did back in September of last year. Nothing quite like this one though. I like the combination of the Latin/Jazz-Rock rhythm with the Dobro and driving Bass. That drum section is infectious to say the least. This thing is actually very good.

Very cool experiment in sound that works for me my friend. Thanks for the D/L, it's going on the iPod my friend.

Be well and be cool,

Very kind and generous, Ed
I had almost given up on this tune: it's been up since November and you are the first to comment (and a positive one, at that). On the other hand, I notice that 7 others have d/l'd (they must be non-members, I guess). In any case, I'm glad you liked it.
Cheers, Richard

of rock and jazz. I love the sound of a "bass fiddle"? or "electric bass?" Everytime I hear such a beat, I think of Jim Carey in the Mask.
Bring on the ruffled shirts and the bongos. :)

I'm attempting to listen
and to learn. It sounds as if it were played by totally mellowed out guys thinking of Cuba. Neat.
