simply smirky
Very novel... simple riff, with little unexpected surprises here and there, made me smirk. At about the 2:00 mark, you start quickly panning a high note back and forth, and at least in headphones, it detracted a lot from the piece... sounded a bit like an annoying car alarm (although, given the movie this goes with, perhaps it is apropos.) Intriguing ending. Welcome to Macjams, neighbor :-)

thanks for the comment
Hey Drakonis, thanks for the comment. The panning was done on purpose and its there to add to the song. Although it wasnt written for the auto racing documentary, I think they had the same feelings that you did and felt the doppler-like effect was appropriate for the film. Thanks again!

Hey Matt
Nice debut - welcome to MJ. Being already familiar with this it's interesting to hear it hear in a different context. Interesting trip for sure with lots of twists and turns. I like the way you combine acoustic and electronic instruments.
