Description
Me and a friend of mine recorded this. I did the lead in one take so it isn't the best thing I've ever done but it has it's moments towards the end. The drums were done with FL Studio. I dig the bass. No lyrics but if anyone has ideas I could cut the lead out or whatever. Leave comments, criticism, thoughts, etc... Thanks for listening.

P.S. I know the title is lame. i just don't like coming up with names so I put the first thing that pops into my head. My friend took the picture outside of Bozeman Montana

Cool
You dudes must be totally chill. Sounds like some kind of experimental John Frusciante and Flea exploration

Thanks Man
The bass probably has a Flea vibe to it. I wish I could play like Frusciante.

I'm from Billings, MT
I'm not morose, either. The groove with the bass and drums is perfect for doing the guitar lead over and over and over again until the best version of it plays in your dreams. I think if you stuck a section in there with a tempo change it would make you work the tightness of your lead out even faster.

Good Idea
I was thinking that it needed a tempo change. I want to redo the guitar but I tend to be a little lazy when it comes to redoing things. Perhaps someday. Thanks for commenting.

Melancholy
My friend thought it was a little too morose so that's where the name came from. Thanks for listening.

Agree
Completely with elevator funk...
Was just thinking Frusciante then i read his comment.
Some vocals would work so well on this and could potentially transform this into a beauty of a song.
As it is it's still really nice though.

Vocals
Yeah it would be good with vocals. I still haven't figured out how to write something that isn't lame. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks for commenting.
