My first collaboration. Many thanks to Savage_Beast for allowing me to add to Whatever. This gave me a chance to work on volumes and spacing in a composition that had a lot of tracks. Beast taught me some things about compression, too.

The biggest stretch was using tempo changes and trying to create effective transitions between them. Also, creating continuity in the sound qualities among a variety of tracks was challenging. Any comments on either effort would be much appreciated.

Some of my favorite music of Dave's includes:
Crack (Bed and Mook) - http://www.macjams.com/song/48280
Breathe (Bed and Mook) - http://www.macjams.com/song/42679

I love ECLive's vocal stylings on We're Gunna Make It (http://www.macjams.com/song/36184)

Coolest thing about working on this is that I was watching the inauguration coverage while listening to Savage read the Declaration of Independence.

Great work on this
I like the creativity that you brought to the song. The additions and changes are very cool. Continuity of sound quality between tracks, especially when using loops from different sources, is always a challenge. But through a deeper understanding of how to use compression (takes time to learn), equalization (im just learning how to eq), and an advanced mixer (which I dont think GarageBand has-I use Logic Express- also from Apple) it will become easier and your results will improve. But for someone new to GB, I think your ahead of the curve.
I was thrilled that you asked to collab with us on this song. Your welcome to any of my other songs if you ever feel the desire.
Thanks for the mention on Crack and Breathe. And thats pretty about cool about you watching the inauguration while hearing me read the Declaration of Independence.

Great Riff!
I love the main riff here and the guitar solo rocks! Nice time changes and shifting moods. This is a tastey piece of work. Cat like voicings around 3 and a half min. were too cool. Sweet download!
