Description
Hey everyone. I finally finished this piece that has been in the works for a couple months. Every time I hear it I'm reminded of the honeycomb level in Mario Galaxy and see stars with it so hence the name. It's a simple ambient piece with nothing super flashy or anything; it'd be something you'd listen to in the background probably like with any ambient piece. I've tried ambient before and found it to be a challenge with balancing the sound to make it flow. After working with ambient over a few years I think I'm ready to release my own piece for everyone to hear. It's influenced by Mario Galaxy and Moby's Blue Paper. Hope you enjoy it! :D

Prog Ambient
Thanks caymanjazz. I was trying a bunch of new things here with different overlapping patterns rather than have all the patterns for each track be the same like much music. I tried some off beat switches for some of the parts so I guess you could say it's influenced by progressive rock too : )

Yay for Buildup
Thanks chinaman2. I wasn't sure if adding new tracks every so often would work but after listening to much ambient over the last year or so I found it was common for ambient artists to do that. I guess I was thinking it had to be something like rock where everything is introduced at once with all this complicated tunes when ambient is to be simple and to the point. I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Marching Stars
is what I think when I hear this. This is different from what you usually hear in a piece like this witch is more somber but this is uplifting.

I really like this!

Awesome
