Description
A song I wrote on holiday in Italy. Sitting in a villa at the edge of lake como playing an acoustic guitar, was easily one of the highlights of last year. Despite this, the lyrics still sound pretty moody! haha, enjoy.

Lyrics
Did you ever notice how
I was always there
Why did I not get the chance
To feel what you are

Loved the thought of
You in my world
That's why I'm around
Wasted time spent
Never telling
You the things I've found

You are someone
I wish that I'd won
Just needed time to change
We've come this far
Can I discover
What you really are

How the gap between has grown
Is there room for me
Why did I not get the chance
to feel what you are

Now you're changing
Into someone
I don't quite understand
Others come and
Seize their chance to
Gain the upper hand

I know you've got a choice
You'd have anything you want
So all I ask of you
Is listen

You are someone
I wish that I'd won
Just needed time to change
We've come this far
Can I discover
What you really are

Solid
I like the demo feel, the bare bones quality. Are you planning on fleshing out the arrangement at all?

Great opening...
...riff. I could hear you singing as it echos over Lake Como.

Really, a very well-crafted song. Well-structure.

Great in all departments.

Bravo,

Dave

clean
Wow. This is really amazing. Really clean production. Wonderful riff. Beautiful harmonies. Just the right punch in parts. Has a hint of Weezer. A tiny hint of Ben Folds. A teenie bit of Fountains Wayne. But also just totally chuck_t at the same time. Really bummed there is no DL button. Thx.
