ChildsPlay (remix)

A fairly simple tune arranged from loops only, remixed and reposted. It's kind of childlike (easy melody, hand claps) but with a slightly sinister undertone (some eerie strings - violin and viola). The other instruments are harp and percussion (drums, congas, timpani and bells).

Simple is not simplistic
What a great feel you have here. This is lovely how everything reinforces everything else. Even the beats are just the right amount and in the right places. You have a great sense of style in how you have woven together these loops.

This piece creates a great sense of ease for me. I only wish it could be longer.

Be well,

... not simplistic
Thank you Doug for the nice comment(s). I'm happy you like my little tune and that it puts you at ease: I think maybe that's what kids songs do, sometimes. Thanks for the visit and I hope you'll come again.

Nice one Richard
Great use of loops to get the message through. I don't hear the sinister part, but even though there is a playful side there is also a more serious side too.

Very nice work my friend,

New Age?
I dunno, Feter, this genre thing is still confusing. I originally listed this as a children's song (which it really isn't); I picked dance/club because the main rhythm loop is a club beat (probably not a good reason, but there you go); and I could have chosen pop orchestral (which I have picked for several of my tunes) 'cause it seems a good descriptive catch-all.

I'm glad you liked the music, however it's listed, and I always happy to share.

I really
liked this. This one tells a story: a group of children holding hands, run through a lovely European city street and delight in the open air market, the traveling circus, all the sights, the smells, the colors and the sounds. :)
