Description
This is a cleaned up version of the project immortal song posted last week. Some tini tweeks and sound corrections to try and bring out the best of most of the tracks in it. I hope the updates are more appealing to the listener. I think they work better but then I can never judge my own work. Never been good at that.

Sounds like...
This sounds very reminiscent of the 80's band YELLO. Specifically, the album "One Second". They were one of my favorites and I still listen to them. Very intense. I would caution anyone intending to listen to this while driving. I had many a speeding ticket listening to this kind of stuff =). Well Done, Sir!

I Like It
Reminds of Yello too (no Shirley Bassey for you though). Nice middle eastern feel in the percussion. Well blended samples of irish folk interweaving with classical and other less definable elements.

thx :)
The list of elements is way too long to list that is now like a 26 track piece or 28 or some other ungodly unbelievable number. Working on track defines to bringout the best in all in it. i can say for sure that there is like 8 beat tracks, and like 10 white noise such as breathing and such. Thank you bunches for the listen and for compliments.

immortal
Interesting piece. I think you do a good job of keeping the listener (me) intrigued with an array of sound effects and musical tidbits. I especially like the strings. I would be curious what you have in mind with this type of music - like, are you writing for film or for dance, or just because you enjoy it. Anyway, fun listen - thank you for sharing this.

I dont know about ambient. I like the combination of beats and sonics. Some interesting voices going on in the back ground. A very cool ride thanks!

Ambient
That is the base that the song was built with the background sounds first. lol I know the finished part isn't ambient anylonger, but i do plan to strip out the beats and others and post the true ambient part of it. To me tecnecly this is a remix of the whispering sounds I built first. Its more house now. :) thx for listing, and the commenting.

Hah, hah!
You are very good. You just excite. Play while riding a dune buggy. I think you'd be safe.

much depth
there is much to listen to. a beat that carries us through time. a melody in strings that haunts the memory of romance. a science fiction movie flashes in the sky. a lost irish band marches on the street below. however, the drums of time carry us on, we cannot go back. we are trapped in the city apartment. 0x0

Sucker for the beats
This really hops. The mix of repetition in the beats with the slowly varying synths works really well for me. A little vox for spice too.

Cool stuff!

Be well,
Doug
