Oh man, the old B-3
Always love the sound of a Hammond B-3. In one of the bands I was in we had a B-3 player and he was really good. The only thing I didn't like was having to haul the thing to gigs along with the Leslie cabinet.

This is a great track katt with some awesome sound to it. Nice arrangement and Pro production work too.
M only nit is I would have rather had an actual ending to it instead of the fade out, but that takes nothing away form the job you did on the music. This is just too cool my friend.

Kudos for the music and the B-3 excellent work

Hey guys, glad you liked the B-3 blues. I am an ole B-3 player from the 60-70's, now I have to do it with software and save carrying around that 400 lb beast. Slo, I had the same thoughts about the fade out, I ran outta time too fast and on the last 3-4 bars, I was going to do a Jimmy Smith type lick and sustain, the way I used to do in the blues band. Also I listened to your tune Good Time Girl and really dug it. I left you a positive comment. Back to the keys

Excellent playing
I would just roll off some low frequencies: your left hand is getting in the way of the rest of the mix.

Otherwise excellence all around.

B-3 Blues
Thanks for the listen guys. To VicDiesel. So you think to EQ the lower end/LH will blend the mix with more clarity, is that right? Is EQ the way to blend the lower end frequency the most effectively? I have so many filters and plug-ins for mixing in GarageBand, it's making my head swim, hehe! I have a mastering plug-in, nothing compared to a real setup, but it helps punch the signal when the tracks are mixed for stereo. I'm also using Sony Pro headphones for laying down and mixing, which is probably the worst way to mix with clarity. I need studio monitors, but I honestly don't know what to look for, there are so many out there and variable price ranges. What are you guys using as far as monitors?

THIS B3 = A1
Loved the playing and production work! Are you using softwear to get this B3 sound (NI B-4)) Nothing sounds as sweet as a B3 swellin/swirlin.Thanks for the post.Gerry.

Who needs the 400 lbs.
Your playing is so smooth and to the untrained ear, they wouldn't know the difference (You could of fooled me!)

Impressive performance.

Thanks for sharing.
