TURN YOUR HEAD w/Mark Deskin

Marty: Mark Deskin (Icomps) is the musician behind this song.....we added lyrics to it and away we went. Mark's a gracious guy who can handle two Sisters VERY well....didn't miss a beat, in fact. We love his music - makes us sway just right........THANK YOU, MARK......
This is a girly love song if ever there was one…..inspired by the
feelings I STILL remember having when I was in 8th grade
and watching my future first husband drive by daily with his fellow
high school students, on their way to the local hang-out for a burger.
He was “above” turning his head to look at elementary school girls.

I was SMITTEN…….badly…
(Of course, the smitten went away. In fact, I should note
that Bye Bye Baby was also inspired by him……LOL……)

There he is now
Just driving by
He doesn’t see me
I can’t catch his eye

Ohhhhh/Turn your head, turn your head
Ohhhhh/Turn your head, turn your head

He passes by me
In slo-motion time
His long hair blowin’
His lips so fine

Ohhhhh/Turn your head, turn your head
Ohhhhh/Turn your head and look at me

I’m in love
I’m struck blind
How do I get him to be mine
I want him to be mine

He keeps on driving
Away from me
If he just turned his head
He would see
Love/Look at me, please look at me
Love/turn your head

Please don’t drive away

Glorious sounds
both vocally and instrumentally..... this really suits you two Anne. I know exactly the lovelorn feelings you mention above.... they can always be brought back when we recall those younger days, and this song brings those early days back. It would make a great song to accompany one of those 50's /60's films, Love it, regards M

Oh yes,
we can love and desire with such intensity when we are too young to really know what that is all is about. Youth, beauty, impetuosity, need, hormones...sums it up, I think. Terrific lyrics and perfect fit with the music. Well and thoroughly done. Thanks, girls and guy.

Yay, Marty
It's good to hear you sing again. I enjoyed the liner notes about this guy. We seem to fall in love for all the wrong reasons. This sounds great- the Sisters harmony is wonderful, and you've found a gold mine in Mark's compositions. The lyrics fit the music perfectly!

nobody does whoa like sisters
50's lead in the verse is great, sliding into the cool steel guitar in the chorus. bridge with the organ and what sounds like glockenspiel is perfect too. just really well constructed in every way, over the top professional, great lyrics, great vox, great listen.

hit it right on the head: 50's all the way. Nice, warm, vintage sound on the production, too. Your sound, Anne, is getting progressively denser....... I sense a trend.

There is not a Sisters
tune that doesn't seem to grab me! I know you borrowed this music from Mark but you add so much... The vocals just totally make this!!!

Ok MJ so where is the "auto-fav" button for an artist!? I mean I'm getting finger cramps faving all your tunes! LOL

Great work... Extremely full sound!
