Description
I remixed this tune in Ardour. I'm pretty happy with it for now! I've been playing with this program off and on over the months and am really enjoying it.

I widened the whole thing to lay a space for the main guitar and make it a little more understandable... I would have brought this in for the MJ SpaceRace Challenge, but it's not new. That's how that goes.

"for now"
are the operative words..... I ALWAYS feel like tweaking the mix a little more!

This sounds very nice and wide; some great frostiness in the high end. That picture is interesting, too: is it my imagination or is there more detail in the reflection than in the berg??

It does
have that icy vastness feel with the high pitches in the opening and after..... a real feeling of places unknown and yet beautiful..... waiting to be discovered..... love the undercurrent sounds going on, cheers M

Wasn't expecting
that Doug. I think I must have missed it the first time.
This is conveying the idea of loneliness and isolation to me in a very real way.
Excellent piece.
Cheers
Len

Beautiful version Doug, I remember the previous which I have still listened just now. This new version sounds better, I like the place you give to the guitar. Nice job...

Sounds like
a Reinholt-esque jam with a guitar, which is a great creative choice in my books. The space I feel in this piece is busy, active, full of things moving past. Very cool combination with the faster guitar work over the slowly changing bed.

Thanks!

Be well,
Doug
