Trail Mix

Sort of Country-Western or Texas 2-step. Could be movin' the cattle up the Chisholm Trail on a beautiful day.

Happy driving music
Sounds like a convertible country drive, warm sun, breeze. Happy. Great sound, as always. Like the change to 6. Really like that part.

Yes, it could be a top-down crusin' tune. A friend of mine thought it could be skiers skiing down a mountain trail, hitting some rough terrain then smooth sailing to the lodge. I thought it could be a back-drop to some outdoor activity. Thanks for the encouragement. By the way, what did you mean by "change to 6"?

Well, maybe. Sounds too laid back and carefree to me. I'm usually in panic mode when skiing, so .... At 2:28 the drums go to a 6/4 thing, then pull out at 2:56.

Actually, I do think it's more like a ride in a convertible rather than a downhill skiing venture. I started this tune over two years ago as a venture into Country-Western. I initially called it Dobro, as it was heavy on Dobro. I must of tweaked it five times over the years, but still didn't think it was worth playing for anyone. Recently, I decided to downplay the Dobro and add more background instruments and decided it was now worth sharing. Glad you liked it!
