Music making can be frustrating sometimes. Not the playing but the finding time to get together and play. This one was written after several aborted attemps to get together and make some music.

Disappointing it may well be
It seems no end in sight
Ambitious sanctity
Is ours tonight

At least we have a quest
A strong determination
The strength of our intent
Will defeat all frustration

Dreams are shared
No one can defeat us
We’re united
We are relentless

I live to remember
What the old man said
You gotta feel the pain
Before you enjoy the gain

The purpose is in our view
No matter what stands before us
Our desire is renewed
With each complimentary chorus

There’s a reason to feel this pride
Dreams of our ambition
A team like ours is blessed
Like the super in superstition

Chorus X2

know the feeling and frustration involved.

This is a great song, love the intro and how it changes tempo and then drops again for that lovely solo, very nice clean guitar sound.
Great vocals too and a nice clear production.

Very much enjoyed!

hey guys. i always find your stuff very challenging...but then it hooks into you and then whilst you're driving down the M2, for no reason you suddenly sing out loud; "the fox slips under the wheel"...and your mate turns to you and says, "wtf are you on about?"...and you reply, "forget about it"....and he does....and you hum it quietly to yourself for the rest of the journey. great lyrics as always. well done.

Glad I took the time and had the patience to play this song as the artist intended because it allowed me to hear the message as well as feel the music.
Stan I think you show good creativity here and the way you handled the production has produced good clean sound throughout.
Finally just a thought. The part I heard starting at 42 got my feet moving.
