I have always been interested in the American Civil War, not the causes or the effect, rather the brutality of this event..I have read many books on the subject...One of these books was created by copying the letters from the front...One such letter touched me.It was from a dying soldier to his wife and was written by a fellow soldier as it was dictated, at the end of the letter John Born the writer wrote a poem...This piece is that letter and that poem...

You may feel this is sappy...If you do well then I guess I'm a sap...lol

Hope you get the point which is: Things have not changed in this world...

I love this!
So beautiful, and ambient, however, I think this should be classified under "cinematic soundtrack", as THIS SHOULD BE THE MAIN THEME FOR A CIVIL WAR MOVIE!!

Outstanding, Dave
This is not a subject I know, but the words of the letter need no interpretation, they tell the truth.

This is very well done my friend. I like the respect you showed the people this is about and the reverence with which you approached it.

Bravo, David
