Parallel Parking in a Graveyard (Live Take 1 Mix)

Description
This is truly just a demo. More to add to it, but I couldn't wait to upload it.
Reason being? It has that Autechre vibe to it, that gritty and dark IDM feel that I personally can't get enough off. So instead of delivering a polished version, the raw demo first. Please tell me what you think and where you would like me to go to with it. Add more melodic layers, maybe some vocals? What?
I am listening!
But for now, enjoy the parallel parking in a Graveyard session!

there are
lyrics here but they are dark and pointed. they are carefully crafted to fit the base...just base. they are beyond me but i hear them. they are amazing in the way the melt into the sound bed. beyond me....but i hear them. waving marc....

Graveyard shift.
Very cool stuff, I think you are the only person who knows where this piece should go, but maybe a faster sixteenth note electronic cymbal or some kind of percussion could kick the track into higher gear and then maybe introduce a dark pad sound somewhere down the line. Cant wait to hear the finished version.

Nice sounds
I like the bassy glass sounds at the start and cool breakbeat. I don't like parallel parking normally however I like this. The track could do with some more pads and a light, maybe metallic sounding melody, just suggestions though. Still good though esp since its live.

Heya Keith
Was nice talking to you just now :-)...I'll try to implement some of your suggestions, but it is going to be tough though, like I said. Anyway, thanks for your comment and I can't wait for your collab tunes! Love, Marc

The word
'Graveyard' in the title left me in no doubt that this was going to be 'dark' as you said, but it wasn't quite as dark as I'd thought.... liked the dank dripping echo like sounds leading into the up beat ending, cheers M

Hello Maurice
Thank you for visiting my page! It is nice to read that you enjoyed it, I always wonder what it does to ears that have way more experience and taste! Well the latter is subjective, but your latest song makes me a humble MJ'er. Thanks again for all you did for me in the past. Love, Marc

excellent track
i personally think this is great as is. i love how it takes so long to wander into the beat (and what a beat). i like AcetyleneJukebox's idea of the 16th notes as well. maybe if they came in and out, not straight through. great track.

Hey Micheal
I tried to implement certain ideas, but to no avail just yet. Thanks for feeling the track the way I did. Sometimes it just should be what it is....but who knows. Your comment was and is highly appreciated. Love, Marc

"I tried to implement certain ideas, but to no avail just yet"....
i wouldn't worry about that too much. i have heard things from you that got thrown on the back burner for a year or so, only to re-emerge as the most mind bending music ever. your creativity brims over my friend.

Best song title
I think I have ever seen.
This starts like a baby taking first steps and then grows into an an unsure teenager. I'd like to see it stride off down the road fully confident, all grown up and pushing everyone out of the way. Until it dies.
You are an artist.
Cheers
Len

Very cool
I really liked the sparseness of the first half - kinda creepy in a way. And just as I was starting to feel that it was starting to become a little monotonous and repetitive you break it up, yet maintaining the sparseness and light creepiness.

Very nicely done - I'll be sure to catch any updated versions of this!

well
after listening to your Eye of the Storm track, I must take it as a huge compliment. Musically speaking my approach seem to be the complete opposite of yours, I was a bit dumbfounded after listening to your piece. I feel a bit like a kid playing with a plastic stick and a bucket....LOL.....

I love the textures you use. You were teasing me at the beginning with that hit you were using. I cant wait to hear the end result.

hello Mitch!
I have some clues now as to where to take the track to, but it will take some time. I also have worked on our track, but making music has taken a back burner these days...dang shame! Must do some musical work this weekend. Good to see you here, your comments are always appreciated! Marc
