Description
I think this is the first song that I've posted here under Mannequin Races that actually has a guitar in it. You can't really tell that it's a guitar but it's in there (middle section around the 1:50 mark). The guitar is heavily modulated but it makes a nice noisy backdrop. Most of the electronic warped samples came from a sample CD. Comments and critiques are welcome. Thank you for listening!

nice !
It's very dynamic, I like the rhythm and groove and the changes on different parts. It has a lot of tonus at different points.

I hear
an updated version of morse code. The distorted and resonant sounds make me think that there is something dangerous lurking just around the bend. Pretty wild. I liked it. :)

Interesting
The beat and groove is really neat. The arrangement of the blips and effects is really cool and tidy. I'm sure I recognise one of those noises from pac-man, either when you ate a ghost or power pill :)

LOL
Lol, pac-man! Yeah, some of those sounds could've been pulled straight from that game! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for listening!

excellent
love all of the glitched/bent synth bits in this. really cool change at 1:10, sick underwater guitar voyage. This sounds like a live band to me. very cool.

Thank you. Thank you.
That's an awesome comment Michael! I've been trying to give my songs a cohesive feel so I'm glad you thought that it sounded like a live band. Underwater guitar voyage is a good way to put the part that starts at 1:10. BTW, your newest song is fantastic!

Thanks!
Thanks for the great comment Karen! I appreciate it very much. I always strive to create soundscapes lately that incorporate interesting and cool sounds. Also I like to put sounds together that wouldn't normally go together. Hell, I just like to make up my own rules!

Thanks
Thanks for listening and commenting! Glad you liked the bass line. The bass is always something I fret about when making music. I'm just really drawn to songs with a good bass sound or a good bass riff in them!

NES
Like a soundtrack to a 1990 Nintendo game about robot orgies. I like the funky bassline going along in the back there.

Robot orgies.... I guess the pick up line of the day would be 'can I put my disk into your slot.' BTW, I love early old school video game music!

Nice!
Reminds me of Pauline Oliveras on the Buchla but its very original. What did you use to create it besides the warped guitar?

Thanks
I believe almost all the sounds came from the program Reason. There are some samples that I used off a sample disc that came with my sub. to Future Music magazine but that's it. Thanks for listening and commenting! I've never heard of Pauline Oliveros so I'll have to check her out!
