Description
An instrumental piece I threw together with some loops and heavy distortion. Kind of presents a contrast betwixt the distorted grittiness of the industrialism and the sweetness of the piano melody...

Hi Addison
contrast is RIGHT!! very cool idea and you pulled it off really well! of course, i'm partial to the piano especially. Great to see something new from you - congrats on this!

pretty gritty, gritty pretty
nice beats there... and even though you tightened down the lead pipes so hard that you stripped the threads, there's something really cool about this. The distortion creates its own harmonic sparkles, although it was good to keep this short so it was great instead of grate :-) For some reason, I wanted that little single piano sequence to happen once, all by itself at the end, sans industrogrit, but that's just me. Good little interlude while we wait for your rumored collabs to start coming in!

well then
you continue to surprise (and impress) me. I love the dirty, gritty drum-n-bass stuff and I think your pairing of it with the piano tune is really well done. I would have liked less distortion on the piano itself - it seemed to start fighting for static electricity with the drum line and sort of cancelled out the contrasting effect a little, but your concept of creating a paradox here is great and I would love to hear you develop this further. keep on going girl - you've got some good instincts for this!

Heavy stuff
This is great stuff Addison. I think it would also sound very cool with your vocals on top of it.

Great work!

This is cool
When I read the description, I thought the music would be all clashy noise, but I was pleasantly surprised. You've managed to make distortion not a bad word in my musical ears. (grin) It went well with the piano and kept me listening. Good to hear you in here Sa..er Addison. :-)

Nice arranging!
I like it! Great job! And I like the gritty combined with the classical! It's always cool to mix stuff like that. Sometime I should show you some of my old stuff from 8th grade where I did loop-mixing like this!
