This is my second Ambient trip mix. This one takes me to Tibet, as it was intended to do. Maybe it will transport you somewhere too. (For those of you interested in the background to this piece, see the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Kailash ). It is a place I would love to travel to physically instead of in my imagination.

I've put this mix together in a very similar way to my last mix, my first piece of intentional Ambient trip music. They are snapshot soundscapes, depicting one scene (to me) and are pieces designed to evoke some remembered or imagined scene to you, the listener. I hope that what you see, hear and feel will stay with you as some sort of positive experience until another memory takes its place.

I always appreciate your thoughts on my music.

I'm so glad you got your composing head back. I'm half way through and it seems to have only been playing for a minute. Very cool soundscape sir. Most definitely a Tibetan feel. I can see the orange-garbed monks, meditating atop the mountain and the kites circling overhead, looking for carrion. I like this very much.

Hi Dave.....
My head has been a shed for a while now...I focused for a while on my father's needs and now he's doing fine, I have time for other stuff and this type of music seems acceptable to work on as I'm helping induce the mind states that I have been working on for a good while now. The fact that others listen is wonderful.

I use compression but didn't realise that General Relativity and the paradox? of relative time was a part of my latest mixes. Maybe it's part of the registered version of one of my new plugins. Ha ha.

The great thing about modern day meditation is that it can be practised in the home, not half way up a cold, draughty mountain. (Thank (your particular) God)).

Take care.

Took me to Shangra-La
But in a darker, more mysterious way than the old Frank Capra movie. Well done!

Hi Michael.....
I thought it was kisses that took you to Shangri-la, not weird Ambient music?? Ha ha.

I like the 'darker, more mysterious way'. It sounds cooooool the way you tell it.

Take care.
