Description
OK, so I revisited this one and made it a bit better. A lot of you probably missed this one anyway. A little ditty.

Lyrics
On and On

If you see me coming
There is nothing, I'd rather do

Silver cockroach ceiling
Crawling underneath my pair of shoes

And this thing goes on and on like a cold in June
And this thing goes on and on like a Sunday afternoon

Oh my, the tingling
Take my covers and my heater, too

Counting all my tiny feelings
A lot of pain, I never knew

And this thing goes on and on like a cold in June
And this thing goes on and on like a Sunday afternoon

Several made up stories
Break the camera; let's start a coup

Exercise the fever
The albatross has never flew (flown)

And this thing goes on and on like a cold in June
And this thing goes on and on like a Sunday afternoon

Great 60's Vibe
There's a hint of later British Invasion here. Like the Stones in their early acoustic moments. The vocal sound is very cool.

Hey Dave
Classical modern folk singing with occasional micro tonalities. Nonsensical lyrics that go directly to the point. Song starting as if you forgot to play the rec button.
Somewhat excessively intentional details. I love the albatross though, precisely for that reason.

Your line is...
...better than mine. "Nonsensical lyrics that go directly to the point."

Dig it

Now I get it
From Bud's comment below. Sid Barret inspired... See? In the end it made sense. Right to the point.

with much gusto
and all sounding very natural. I agree on the British Invasion comparison mentioned her above. Tons of gusto in your singing. Great job, David.

Cool vox
The way you sound on "Coming" in the first line reminds me of Dylan in... can't remember the name of the track. But it's off "Blood on the Tracks" and the line is "Though our separation..." and it sounds raw and is one of my favorite parts of the record.
