The Shores of Desire

Don't you just hate it when the Internet times you out and you have to reconnect, etc. and retype stuff!!! Gggrrrrrrrrrr.

This mix is about all those ugly desires that raise their heads at the most inopportune moments and just when you thought that you'd beat them.

The mix is 5 minutes shorter than the original version but you'll prpbably not notice, as the left over bit is nagging enough, as desires should be!! The EQ could have been better but my desire to upload got the better of me. There you go, what did I tell you.........

As always, your thoughts on my pieces are important to me.

Hi Bryn........
The main reason that I uploaded the mix was because of the sparklies and how they seemed to stand out enough to give the monotony a bit of relief. I'm happy that you noticed them.

Thanks everso for stopping by to leave your kind and encouraging words.

Take care.

Excellent track Paul
I like the heartbeat - and the subtleties in your textures. This needs a proper listen later as Bryn said.

Hi Bud.....
I too heard and tried to emphasize the heartbeat component. It does add to the overall effect of the mix. I'm also trying to lighten up some of the dark, scarey mixes that I've been producing since just before Xmas. This mix is an 'inbetweeny' experiment.

The subtleties are what I enjoy doing most of all with my pieces so it's good that you heard them.

Take care.

Not-the-way. Hahahaha. Very good. But this IS the way to compose good ambient. I admire the patience. Great piece of work.

Hi Duane......
It's good to know that someone reads the keywords section. I spend some time trying to put in words that describe most things about how I view any new Reinholt56 upload. The Buddha words just nail a point-of-view that the mix evokes in me. (That point-of-view being all-encompassing of course).

The desirelessnessnessness of the thought behind the mix was the hardest part in putting this together. (I couldn't get going with what to actually do). The rest of the mix drew together with explosive force. (There's Buddha meeting and becoming your Buddha and vice versa all the way to Nirvana).

The result is for a warm bed of ears to hear, and isn't Nirvana nothingness?? That says it all really.

Take care.
