farners almanac
nice of blend of sounds. simple but effective. really like the sample guitar riff at 0:40 and then again at 1:02. good feel to this. like the way it keeps moving on but not too far away from its main theme. feels very musically progressive. bet you had fun doing this. really liked this. cheers

Thanks!
I did have fun doing this, because I think this was the first song on GarageBand that I actually figured out that you could re-write and transpose certain loops. I swear, I learn something new about GB every day. I'm going to have my hands full with Logic someday! :)

Thanks for your thoughtful comments and for stopping by to listen--much appreciated!

almanac
at 1:00 in - this solo really starts to carry it ! i love the boogey bass here. then again at 1:44 - "read the farmer's almanac" sails.
but i do read it - the actual thing - and they are totally correct 88% of the time . . . with their forcasting - . ~

You've
put a nice group of complimentary loops together and it has a city lights feel to it.

I am like Lester Bangs in "Almost Famous"--fundamentally uncool. I have been trying very hard to be one of the cool kids for about thirty years now, but I think it's time to throw in the towel in put my energies into elevating Loser-dom into a state... [see more]
