Music For Synthetic Whales

Description
Where I live Whales are easy to visit on the open seas, several Orca pods live here and other whales pass by on there way to feeding grounds in northern waters during summer.

The Whales sounds generated are from a guitar, thus the synthetic title...

Hope you like Music For Synthetic Whales...

( lots of loops & samples in this one) part classical part Whale...

Wow
This was very neat, love the acoustic playing. Different, but that's what keeps it interesting. You're something else, Shadowman!

Whales
beautiful job Dave - very convincing whales - I'm sure we have some of the same pods down here in Puget Sound - maybe we've seen the same whales?

Okay, now that’s just cool. The string quartet is such a wonderful background to your very realistic sounding whale song. Is that a software acoustic guitar? It’s a wonderful sound and chord sequence.

This is different for you, I think. Well produced as usual, though.

Cool and interesting
Whales singing is always a good thing. I think they like the classical accompaniment.

too cool
dave, this is exceptionally cool. the synthetic whale sounds are really awesome. the different sections of the song seemed a little incongruous to me - transitions not quite as smooth as they could be. I think i would have liked to have heard the acoustic guitar play with the string quartet, weaving the ideas of the song together a little more. but dude, i love this.

Oh, I'm with you
on the title of this song Dave... love the styles you delighted us with in this piece denoting (I presume) the places Whales travel near to... nice and up beat, even though it's a serious and urgent message..... excellent Whale sounds, regards M
